For almost 10 years, the Center for Transportation Safety has delivered an industry-leading, one-week agricultural transport safety program. We are seeking bilingual (Spanish/English) CDL professionals who have the expertise to evaluate, the mindset to mentor, and the professionalism to represent CTS in the field.

This role is ideal for Class A drivers who are passionate about safety, have strong leadership skills, and can effectively communicate in both English and Spanish to help ensure a safe and efficient harvest transport season.

• Evaluate Class A driver skills for safety, compliance, and operational readiness
• Provide clear, constructive coaching to seasonal drivers hauling product from field to mill
• Promote best practices in vehicle operation, cargo securement, and roadway safety
• Monitor driver performance to maintain safety standards and zero-incident goals
• Collaborate with experienced Lead Managers to ensure project success
• Act as a role model for safe, professional, and courteous driving behavior

• 7+ years Class A (CDL A) driving experience
• Clean MVR with no drug/alcohol convictions
• Fluent in Spanish & English (speaking, reading, and writing)
• Strong mentoring, training, or evaluation experience preferred
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions during the project week
• Professional appearance, positive attitude, and strong communication skills

• Previous driver training or safety coaching experience
• Familiarity with agricultural transport and rural route driving
• Understanding of FMCSA safety regulations and compliance requirements
