Purchasing Specialist - Schaumburg, IL

$24-$26/Hour (Plus full benefits)

**This position offers a hybrid schedule after training, 2 days work from home, 3 days in office**

Key Responsibilities:

• Communicate and coordinate with customers, vendors, and internal departments in a timely, friendly, and solution-oriented manner
• Confirm and track all purchase orders and deliveries to ensure timely, accurate fulfillment
• Prepare and manage customer invoicing
• File and maintain records of special orders and vendor documentation
• Assist in product sourcing and pricing based on inventory and customer needs
• Collaborate with multiple departments to proactively communicate product availability and updates
• Perform additional administrative and operational duties as needed

Qualifications:

• Minimum one years' experience in a similar role/customer service role in a corporate environment
• Experience working in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal
• Ability to prioritize tasks
